Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland Partner with Harris County To Build a 31-Unit Housing Complex for the Homeless

Jul 02, 2023

Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland have teamed up with Harris County leaders to provide permanent housing for 31 homeless families in Midtown.

The Knowles-Rowland House permanent housing project will have case managers, peer specialists, service specialists, and support services, like transportation, mental health, physical and behavioral health support, county records note.

This initiative is also in conjunction with the coalition for the homeless and will use $7.2M in American Rescue Plan funds to develop housing at the Bread of Life Gymnasium in Houston.

We are looking forward to continuing our fight against food insecurity through housing, education, community, radio, and food distributions.
